Stage play of 5pb./Nitro+'s "science adventure game" to run in Tokyo's Space Zero Hall

MAGES. president Chiyomaru Shikaru announced on Sunday that the 5pb./Nitroplus game Robotics;Notes is getting a stage play adaptation. The play will run at the Zenrōsai/Space Zero Hall near Tokyo's Shibuya station during next spring's Golden Week holidays.

The Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 game Robotics;Notes comes from the makers of Steins;Gate and Chaos;HEAd and already inspired the ongoing anime. The third "science adventure game" is set in an alternate future world after Tokyo's Shibuya district was destroyed in 2009, followed by the destruction of the Radio Kaikan building in Tokyo's Akihabara a year later.

The world is immersed in realistic augmented reality technology in 2019, but a high school robotics club is in danger of being disbanded after shrinking to just two members. The club's revival is tied to the robot it is building, as well as with dramatic events around world.

Funimation currently streams the anime as it airs in Japan.
