Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII's Extended Trailer Posted

Square Enix began streaming the extended first-look trailer for its Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII role-playing game sequel on Thursday. Square Enix revealed through the trailer (the full version of the Jump Festa trailer) that the game will ship worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles this fall.

The game will represent the final chapter in Lightning's story. The game centers around a 13-day countdown until the end of the world, and players must save humanity within 13 days and 13 nights.

The trailer features the musical track "Crimson Blitz" by Masashi Hamauzu, who is working with Naoshi Mizuta and Mitsuto Suzuki on the game's soundtrack.
