Digimon World Re:Digitize 3DS Game's Ad Teases New Content

June 27 port of PSP monster-raising RPG to have 2 new storylines, 160 Digimon, game card

Namco Bandai Games began streaming a commercial for its Nintendo 3DS game Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode on Thursday. The "digital monster-raising role-playing game" is an expanded version of the PlayStation Portable Digimon World Re:Digitize game that was released last year.

The ad teases the two new storylines — Dōkoku no X-Kōtai (The Lamentable X-Antibody) and Sakubō no Maō (The Scheming Demon Lord) — and promotes the fact that the game has over 160 trainable Digimon. The first copies of the game will come with a special collaboration card for the Digimon Card Game.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode will arrive on June 27. The game is the fourth phase of the Digimon franchise's 15th anniversary project. The other three phases were the original PSP game Digimon World Re:Digitize, the iPhone card RPG Digimon Crusader, and the PSP game Digimon Adventure.
