Blik-0 1946 bundles 3 music tracks by Uematsu & song lyrics
The new localization and game company acttil announced on Saturday that it will offer a digital picture book by famed Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu next month. The picture book, titled Blik-0 1946, will serve as acttil's first book release. The story bundles three original music tracks by Uematsu (with lyrics by Uematsu on two of them). acttil describes the story:
Blik-0 1946 is a story about a robot named “Blik-0,” created by a reputable artificial intelligence scientist, Dr. Mabuse. Blik-0 is a robot built with functions that let him emulate the human heart and brain. As he experiences life the way humans do, he starts to struggle with feelings and emotions like sadness, heartache, anger, and love.
The story features illustrations by Hiroki Ogawa, who previously contributed album art for Uematsu's band, The Earthbound Papas. The 53-page book will be available via iTunes and retail for US$9.99.
