Fan-created "Wolf Girl" has three days left to fund.
A team of Mononoke fans in the UK are three days away from the end of their Kickstarter, an ambitious project to make a fan-created, live-action Princess Mononoke-inspired film called Wolf Girl. The story takes place 600 years after the end of the events in the Ghibli film, and depicts the story of a young girl who is called to action to save the forest she loves.
The fan film is pulling together the talents of many filmmakers, including puppeteers, CG visual effects artists, sculptors, costumers, and more.
The Kickstarter ends on September 29. It still has about £18,845 (~$30,159) to go.
