Escape from Giants in Attack on Titan Game Set in Yokohama Stadium

May 3-4 event lets players pretend to be the Survey Corps

The official website for SCRAP's "Real Escape Games" announced that it will host "Escape from a Certain Fortress Town," a Real Escape Game based on Attack on Titan. The event will be held on May 3 and 4 at Yokohama Stadium.

As in other Real Escape Games, players have to cooperate to solve puzzles to get items and passwords that they need to escape. The scenario has players act as trainees hoping to join the Survey Corps. The graduation event is interrupted when titans attack and break into the citadel, and players have one hour to find the escape route.

Since it is held in a stadium, the event will be one of the largest-scale Real Escape Games ever held. It is currently planned to move on to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sendai, and Toyota after Yokohama. Tickets will be on sale for the general public on March 8 for 3,000 yen (US$29.30) on pre-order and 3,500 yen (US$34.18) at the door.

Past anime-inspired Real Escape Games have included an Evangelion game in San Francisco and a Detective Conan game in Takamatsu city.
