Sanrio Introduces Male Characters That Love...Sanrio

Sanrio is continuing its campaign to show its mascots and products are guy-friendly. The character-creating company launched a Twitter account for "Sanrio Danshi,"(Sanrio Boys) five attractive male characters who love Sanrio goods.

Each high school guy has is own favorite character. Kōta Hasegawa prefers the yellow Pom Pom Purin dog. He says that despite his love for Purin, his favorite food is yakisoba (the mascot is inspired by pudding).

Yū Mizuno likes the bunny My Melody and wears hair clips the same color as her pink hood. He sends her fan mail.

Shunsuke Yoshino looks up to Hello Kitty so much he refers to her as "Kitty-san."

Ryō Nishimiya adores Twin Angels Kiki and Lala, represented by his blue and pink shoelaces.

Seiichiro Minamoto likes how fluffy Cinnamoroll is.

The Twitter is account is used primarily to share art of the characters hanging out together with just enough undertones to feed the fujoshi.
