Honey and Clover Sub.DVD
A whimsical romantic comedy about five art-college students, it's possessed of a sweet romanticism, tinged with melancholy, and driven by events unpredictable enough to be called realistic.

Fujoshi Rumi GN 1-2
Those not familiar with otaku culture should use caution when approaching Fujoshi Rumi. Humor that has to be explained isn't funny, and you are unlikely to fully appreciate these books unless you're already a card-carrying otaku.

Ragnarok The Animation DVD 3
Given the epic awfulness of the first two-thirds of this series, it comes as no small surprise that this concluding third actually does not (entirely) suck. It actually manages some good moments in ascending to the level of mediocrity.

xxxHOLiC DVDs 1-2
The creators must have been hoping that viewers would be too distracted by all the talking heads lecturing on about wishes and free will to notice that this anime series is undistinguished in virtually every particular.

One Piece: Movie No. 8 DVD
A glorified recap episode, this film is more a reminder of times past than a work of art, but given the length of time we may have to wait before an un-butchered version of those times is available, it's better than nothing.
