Funimation Channel on Colours Update

Anime Block Expanded to 4 Hours

Following news earlier this week that the FUNimation Channel syndicated anime block on Colours TV was to be delayed by one week, Funimation has announced that the all anime, all Funimation programing block has been expanded from 2 hours to four hours.

Colours TV, carried throughout the United States as part of Dish Network's basic satellite TV package, is the first broadcaster to pick up the block. The block will launch on September 11, 2006 and will air seven days a week starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The extended block will feature uncut episodes of Yū Yū Hakusho, Slayers, and Negima!, among others.

The block is distributed by Olympusat and, along with the 24-hour anime programming on the FUNimation Channel, is available to broadcasters nationwide.
