While the story still has its logical flaws, it remains an engaging read that holds up well despite the passing of years and this volume continues to keep up both the promise and nostalgia of Takeuchi's masterwork.

Pokemon Movie: Black Dub.DVD
Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.

Bodacious Space Pirates Episodes 7-12 Streaming
Like the pirate she is, Marika is chasing space treasure this time around. At six episodes this arc is twice the size of any previous arc, but it fairly flies by. Not great, but darned fun.

Vampire Hunter D: Pale Fallen Angel Parts 3 and 4
Things only get more complicated for D as his mission to escort the Baron concludes in this twelfth American release of the Vampire Hunter D novels. Though many interesting things happen, it still has the same strengths and weakness as most previous novels.
