Death Note Movies to Show at New York Asian Film Fest

The 6th New York Asian Film Festival has announced that it will screen the Death Note live-action movie and its companion piece, Death Note: The Last Name, during the 2007 event that runs from June 22 to July 8. Other film highlights include Big Bang Love: Juvenile A from Ichi the Killer director Takashi Miike, I'm a Cyborg (But That's Okay) from Oldboy writer-director Chan-wook Park, Memories of Matsuko from Kamikaze Girls writer-director Tetsuya Nakashima, and the 15th anniversary screening of Hard Boiled from renowned director and Ex Machina producer John Woo.
