Users' avatars can cosplay as Geass characters or Lancelot robot starting Saturday

The production committee for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion robot anime series announced that it is distributing official Code Geass character and robot costumes during a fan event in the Second Life virtual world on Saturday, December 22. The virtual event will be held in Hakuhodo DY Group's WITH experimental island.

The island's Kassai event hall contains several Code Geass displays, including a "life-size" replica of the main robot (Lancelot) in the series. In addition, fans can have their avatars cosplay with official female and male uniforms from the series. Fan can even replace their avatar with a Lancelot model, complete with its giant VARIS rifle. As a limited item, the Lancelot avatar is available to just 3,000 users.

In a separate development, Second Life is presenting official avatars of the lead characters from Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece manga this weekend. Similarly to the Code Geass event, the Jumpland@Second Life event offers exclusive clothing for users' avatars.
