Detroit's Auto Show to Feature Speed Racer Car

Warner Brothers, which is producing the upcoming live-action adaptation of the classic Speed Racer (Mach Go Go Go) racing anime, plans to exhibit the movie's centerpiece Mach 5 car at this year's North American International Auto Show. The show will be open to the public from January 19 to January 21 at the COBO Center in Detroit, Michigan. In May of last year, Warner released a photograph of the movie's Mach 5, but the car will reportedly be computer-generated for most of the time it appears onscreen. Speed Racer will be released in theaters throughout the United States on May 9.
