Network now has market penetration of 35 million homes in 95%+ of North America
A.D. Vision's Anime Network has announced that the Charter Communications cable television company agreed to carry the channel as a subscription-based video-on-demand (SVOD) service starting on January 3. With the deal, the Anime Network's regular video-on-demand (VOD) service and SVOD service now have a combined market penetration of 35 million households in over 95% of North America. The network announced a SVOD deal with Medicom earlier this month. While it no longer has its 24/7 linear service, the Anime Network still operates the original VOD services and still uses the Sprint Mobile streaming service for mobile phones and its own Online Player for personal computers.
