Oshii's Sky Crawlers Gets Wii Game from Ace Combat Team

The Famitsu game magazine reported this week that Bandai Namco Games will adapt The Sky Crawlers, the upcoming aerial war film from Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor, Avalon), into a Nintendo Wii game. Masanori Kato, a producer on the Ace Combat fighter game series, is directing the project for a Summer release. Famitsu has posted a Japanese video interview with Oshii and Kato and some footage of Oshii himself playing an early version with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck.
