Kurumi Duo to Launch Tsukiiro no Noel Fantasy Manga

Boy enrolls in academy for heroes even though the age of heroes is over

The artist duo Kaishaku (Steel Angel Kurumi, Kannazuki no Miko) will start a new manga called Tokyo Gensō Gakuen Yūsha-Ka: Tsukiiro no Noel (Tokyo Magical Academy's Hero Department: Tsukiiro no Noel) in the June issue (on sale on May 12) of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine. The announcement was made in the May issue, which was released on April 12. The story will center on a boy named Hayato who enrolls in an academy dedicated to heroes. Hayato dreams of becoming a hero himself, even though the age of heroes may already be over.

Tokyopop will release Kaishaku's Kannazuki no Miko: Destiny of Shring Maiden manga in May in North America. DrMaster has been releasing Key Princess Story: Eternal Alice Rondo, and ADV Manga released Steel Angel Kurumi. Almost all of Kaishaku's manga have also been adapted into anime.
