3-part suspense story based on acclaimed manga by Monster's Naoki Urasawa

The official website of the live-action film adaptation of Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys suspense manga posted a short teaser trailer. The teaser displays the "Book of Prophecy" that plays a crucial role in the story and lists the director Yukihiko Tsutsumi (Trick, Ikebukuro West Gate Park). It also lists the main cast: Toshiaki Karasawa (Casshern's Brayking Boss) as Kenji, Etsushi Toyokawa (Hula Girls) as Otcho, and Takako Tokiwa (Brave Story) as Yukiji. The teaser features "20th Century Boy," the song by the English rock band T.Rex that inspired the motif of Urasawa's original award-winning manga. (Urasawa also created Monster, Yawara, and Master Keaton.) The first film in the trilogy opens in Japan on August 30.
