TitleMatch Halts Production of ImaginAsian DVDs

ImaginAsian looks for new means to issue Cat's Eye, Orguss, Remi DVDs

The North American distributor ImaginAsian Entertainment has confirmed that its DVD supplier "TitleMatch Entertainment has unexpectedly halted the production of TMS Classics DVD series Cat's Eye, Orguss, and Nobody's Boy Remi. " ImaginAsian emphasizes that its television network is still showing all three anime series, and that it is also exploring options on how to return the titles to the DVD market.

Right Stuf, the only official third-party retailer of ImaginAsian DVDs, no longer lists these three titles as of this week's website update. However, Robert's Anime Corner Store obtained copies of these three titles from Right Stuf and still lists them as available on its website. ImaginAsian initially chose TitleMatch for its unique DVD-on-demand production process, but the actual release of these titles experienced several delays.

Protocall Technologies, the parent company of TitleMatch, has been delinquent in its regulatory filings to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. The company's website listed Chairman Peter Greenfield, President Syd Dufton, and Vice President of Business Development Mary Litchhult last year, but no longer lists these executives on the current website. CEO Bruce Newman confirmed in an online interview with Agoracom that Dufton left suddenly this year.
