Adaptation of school romantic comedy light novels to premiere on Wednesday
StarChild's official Japanese website for the anime adaptation of Yuyuko Takemiya and Yasu's Toradora! light novels has begun offering a television commercial as a "blog parts" applet on Monday. The romantic comedy centers on Ryūji Takasu, a sweet, ordinary second-year high school student shunned by others because his face looks like a troublemaker's. He bumps into Taiga Aisaka, a tiny but ferocious girl who is also shunned — even by her own family — as the "Handheld Tiger." Their love-hate relationship begins in spite of (or perhaps because of) their shared burden of being ostracized outcasts. The Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo will premiere the anime on October 1.
