Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! opens at #2; Ichi drops off chart
Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! Okashi no Kuni no Happy Birthday, the theatrical spinoff from the ongoing Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! television series, opened at the Japanese box office at #2 during the November 8-9 weekend. The movie is the fifth theatrical release from the Precure or Pretty Cure magical girl anime franchise.
Ichi, the female re-imagining of the popular blind swordsman character Zatoichi from director Fumihiko Sori (Vexille, Ping Pong), dropped from #9 off the chart in its third week at the Japanese box office.
