Spice and Wolf II Act 0's Promo Video Streamed

The official website for the upcoming Spice and Wolf II anime sequel has posted a 15-second "Visual Novel de Mirareru zo yo!" special movie to promote the anime's Act O "Ōkami to Kohaku-iro no Yūutsu" ("The Wolf and the Amber Melancholy") episode on Friday. The anime adapts the acclaimed novel series that avoids the usual sword-and-sorcery trappings of fantasy stories and focuses on how business (and religion) gets done in a medieval world — with a wolf girl. Act O will ship on a DVD with Isuna Hasekura and Jū Ayakura's Ōkami to Kin no Mugiho light novel on April 30. The actual Spice and Wolf II television series will premiere this summer.
Although Kadokawa Pictures USA acquired an in-house license for the first Spice and Wolf anime season in North America, no distributor has been announced yet. Yen Press did acquire the original light novels for English translation.
Note: The Dengeki Bunko imprint uses the term "visual novel" differently from other publishers. It uses "visual novels" for regular text novels and not computer or game software.
