Rock Band Glay to Perform 3 Concerts in California

The popular four-man rock band Glay will return to the United States for three concerts in San Francisco and Hollywood next month. The first concert will be at The Fillmore, a concert hall with a 1,200-person capacity, in San Francisco on September 9. The House of Blues Sunset Strip in Hollywood will host the two final concerts on Septmber 11 and 12. The band performed at the same venues last August in their first American concert tour.
Glay is marking its 15th anniversary with this Glay U.S. Tour 2009-The Great Vacation, which is sponsored by UDO Artists, Inc. Glay performed songs for the Kaikan Phrase (Sensual Phrase), Survival 2.7D, and Yamato Takeru anime, as well as for Chris Nahon and Pathé's live-action film adaptation of Mamoru Oshii and Hiroyuki Kitakubo 's Blood: The Last Vampire anime. Takuro also composed a theme song in the live-action NANA 2 film, and he and band guitarist Hisashi made cameos as crowd extras in the live-action Casshern film.
