Adaptation of Hiroyuki Asada's fantasy manga to launch on Saturday

The Crunchyroll media-distribution website has announced that it will begin simulcasting the Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee anime series on Saturday, October 3 at 8:30 a.m. PDT. This anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Asada's manga will be available from Crunchyroll everywhere except Japan.

The original manga follows a boy who runs deliveries as a "Letter Bee" messenger throughout a strange fantasy land. An anime special was already produced for last fall's Jump Super Anime Event Tour events, and it was later streamed worldwide. Viz Media announced at last year's Comic-Con International event that it is releasing the Tegami Bachi manga in North America starting this month.
