Previously unseen character to appear in "Yoi Kono Madararui 1" extra in March

The official website for the original video animation (OVA) version of Tarako Kotobuki's Sex Pistols boys-love manga announced on Thursday that the first DVD will ship on March 26 with a video extra. An original character named "Hoikushi" will appear for the first time in the "Yoi Kono Madararui 1" extra. Koji Yusa will voice the previously unseen character.

In addition to the actual Sex Pistols episode and the "Yoi Kono Madararui 1" extra, the limited edition of the first DVD volume will add a box illustrated by Kotobuki, a CD with the opening and ending theme songs, and a booklet illustrated by Kotobuki in the style of a gossip magazine supplement. The volume is also tentatively slated to include the school ID card of the character Shiro Fujiwara (Wataru Hatano), two "candid photographs" of the character Yonekuni Madarame (Tomokazu Sugita), and one of two mail-in cards needed for an accessory gift. The second and final planned volume will ship on June 25 with the "Yoi Kono Madararui 2" extra. The second volume's limited edition will add another box illustrated by Kotobuki, the soundtrack CD, another gossip-magazine-style booklet, Madarame's school ID card, two "candid photographs" of Fujiwara, and the last of the mail-in cards.

The "science love fiction" story of Sex Pistols revolves around a high school boy who discovers that he is part of a select group of humans. These individuals did not evolve from primates, but from various animals such as leopards and black bears. Tokyopop's Blu imprint published the manga — which has no relation to the British punk rock band of the same name — in North America under the name Love Pistols. The incomplete manga ran in Biblos' Magazine Be-Boy from 2003 to 2006, and five compiled manga volumes and four audio drama CDs have been released.
