Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, November 16-22

K-ON! #5 is 5th volume in a row to top anime charts

The fifth K-ON! Blu-ray Disc (BD) volume has sold 26,000 copies to rank #2 on Oricon and SoundScan Japan's weekly BD ranking charts. It is the fifth K-ON! volume in a row to be the #1 anime BD release of the week. The #1 BD release overall was the Special Edition of McG and Sony Pictures Entertainment's Terminator Salvation film, which sold 31,000 copies. TOHO's Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack BD (pictured at right) landed at #19.
