News Borders Group CEO Ron Marshall Resigns After 1 Year

The Borders Group book and media store chain has announced on Tuesday that Chief Executive Officer Ron Marshall has resigned from the company. Marshall had held the position for one year. Borders said that Marshall resigned to take a position at another company, and ICv2 retail news source notes the speculation that he has moved to take the vacant CEO position at the supermarket chain Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea, Co.
Marshall's resignation comes just after Borders reported a 13.7 percent decline in sales over the 2009 holiday season.
By the end of February, the Waldenbooks chain of Borders should be down to 148 stores nationwide after closing approximately 200 stores in January, while 515 Borders superstores remain open.

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.

Hiiro no Kakera is by no means a terrible show...it just isn't a very good one, either. With a stilted script and a team of heroes who feel incompetent, not to mention cookie cutter characters who do little to make themselves endearing or unusual, it does nothing to elevate itself above the masses.
Tsukihime DVD 3Tsukihime is a show that's all about creating a mood, which it does very well with its carefully planned color schemes and evocative music score. The mysteries that seemed to be there just for the sake of being mysterious finally come together to form a somewhat coherent ending.
