Jackie Chan to Make Japanese-Animated Debut in Trailer

Chan works with Eagle Talon's Frogman for 30-second ad for The Spy Next Door

Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: 56-year-old Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan will make his Japanese animation debut in a theatrical preview made especially for Japan. Chan is collaborating with Frogman, the computer animator famous for the Eagle Talon gag comedy anime franchise and a fan of Chan's, on a 30-second theatrical preview. The preview is for The Spy Next Door, Chan's newest film which goes by the name Double Mission in Japan. The preview will premiere on 28 TOHO Cinemas screens nationwide on May 29, and the film itself will open in Japan on June 19.

Chan had previously starred as Ryo Saeba in a loose, live-action adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo's City Hunter manga.
