Animate USA puts 4 Libre boys-love manga on Amazon Kindle Store

Media Factory has posted My Darling is a Foreigner in English, a bilingual version of Saori Oguri's autobiographical Darling wa Gaikokujin manga about her relationship with her American husband Tony László, on the Apple iPad device. The iPad version has both English and Japanese text, and the Japanese text can be toggled off. Digital Manga Publishing once printed the manga in English under the title Is He Turning Japanese? in its How to "Read" Manga series. Oguri's series has sold 3 million copies in Japan and inspired a live-action film with Mao Inoue (Hana Yori Dango [2005], Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu) and Jonathan Sherr as the couple.

In a separate development, Animate USA has posted four more boys-love manga titles from Japan's Libre Publishing Co., Ltd. in the Amazon Kindle Store for e-books. All four titles — Nase Yamato's Cigarette Kisses, Natsuho Shino's Oh my god! Volume 1, Kano Miyamoto's Say Please, and Kano Miyamoto's Two of Heartshave also been published in print by Aurora Publishing's Deux Press imprint.

Animate USA already released six previous titles on the Amazon Kindle Store. Two of the previous titles were also published in print by Deux Press. On April 14, the online graphic novel distributor Netcomics.com removed Aurora Publishing's titles from its website.

Kindle Books can be read on Amazon's own Kindle devices (in three different versions), a free App for Apple's iPhone/iPod touch/iPad mobile devices and BlackBerry devices, and the free Kindle application for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
