Super Robot Wars' 2nd TV Anime Confirmed for Fall

The September issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Hobby Magazine is confirming on Saturday that a second Super Robot Wars television anime series, Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector, will premiere this fall. As revealed by animator Satoshi Kubo earlier this month, Masami Ōbari (Virus Buster Serge, Gravion, Juusou Kikou Dancouga Nova) is directing this project based on the tactical simulation role-playing games from Bandai Namco's SR Produce Team.
Takanobu Terada (Super Robot Wars OG: Divine Wars, Super Robot Wars Original Generation - The Animation) and Sōichirō Morizumi are supervising the project at Ashi Production, and Yuichiro Takeda (Brave King GaoGaiGar Final Grand Glorious Gathering) and manga creator Tatsunosuke Yatsufusa (Super Robot Taisen OG Chronicle: Dengeki SupaRobo!) are supervising and writing the scripts. JAM Project is performing a theme song.
Update: The anime features an all-star team of mechanical designers: Kazutaka Miyatake, Hajime Katoki, Mika Akitaka, Kazue Saitou, Masahiro Yamane, Tsukasa Kotobuki, Masami Ōbari, and others.
