Maria Holic Alive, A Channel BDs/DVDs Add Unaired Footage

1st Maria Holic Alive volume to have 1st episode's unaired ending

The first DVD volumes for the Maria Holic Alive and A-Channel television anime series will ship later this year with new, unaired footage as bonus extras. The first Maria Holic Alive DVD will ship on July 27 with an unaired version of the final segment in the first episode. It will also have the first two episodes, audio commentary, and a collection of promotional videos and commercials. The first edition of the DVD will bundle an eight-page special booklet with comments drawn by original manga creator Minari Endo and two bonus cards. 

The first A-Channel DVD will ship on May 25 with new, unaired footage. It will also have the first two episodes, online videos with the main cast, and audio commentary. The limited first pressing of the DVD will bundle a CD with the ending theme song and the songs heard in the first two episodes.

Both anime series are premiering in Japan this week. Sentai Filmworks has already licensed Maria Holic Alive for North America, and The Anime Network will begin streaming the series on April 10.
