News Website: Batman's Goyer Hired to Write Godzilla Remake
posted on 2011-07-13 23:50 EDT
The Deadline movie website reports that the American production company Legendary Pictures has hired David Goyer to rewrite the script for its remake of TOHO's Godzilla monster film franchise. Goyer co-wrote Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, the Blade film trinity, and Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot Man of Steel. David Callaham already wrote a script for the planned Godzilla remake. If the film is made, Warner Brothers and TOHO will distribute it in their respective countries. Director Gareth Edwards and Legendary Pictures producers Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are also attached to the project.
Legendary Pictures indicated that its version will hew closer to the original 1954 film rather than Sony's 1998 Godzilla remake.

Review
If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.
On the whole, The Battle for Doldrey is a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses. While that may be true of most things, there are few places where those lines are so clearly drawn as in this film.
Nanami proves to be a much stronger heroine than Sakurakoji's Misao, never giving in to her distress and actively attempting to come to her own rescue. It is unlikely that this similarity is deliberate, but shoujo readers who are fed up with Black Bird may find solace here.
