The ticket service Pia began streaming the 44-second trailer for the fourth of Bones' six-part monthly film series Towa no Quon on its YouTube channel on Friday. The fourth film opens in Japan on September 10. The service also began streaming the first six minutes of the third installment, which already opened on August 13.
The first installment in the series opened in theaters on June 18 in Japan, and it was released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 26. The second film opened in theaters in Japan on July 16. The story of Towa no Quon follows a boy named Quon and others who suddenly wake up with supernatural powers.
The anime studio BONES is producing the film series as the last anime of Umanosuke Iida (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Hellsing), the director who passed away last November. Takeshi Mori (Otaku no Video, Gunsmith Cats, Vandread) is serving as the "collaborative director" in Iida's place.
Fans who watch all six films can receive a special drama CD.
