News Blood-C Anime Film Slated for June 2, 2012

The end of the last episode of the Blood-C vampire anime revealed on Friday morning that the Blood-C film will open in theaters in Japan on June 2, 2012.
The manga creator team CLAMP developed the story and original character designs for the television series and film, and Production I.G is animating both projects.
Ranmaru Kotone (Diasta of Ultima Thule, Toki wo Kakeru Shōjo: Tokikake) is adapting the project into a manga, which launched in Shōnen Ace in May. A separate manga version launched in Newtype Ace earlier this month.
Niconico, the English version of the online video service Nico Nico Douga, streamed the television series outside of Japan as it aired.

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.

Hiiro no Kakera is by no means a terrible show...it just isn't a very good one, either. With a stilted script and a team of heroes who feel incompetent, not to mention cookie cutter characters who do little to make themselves endearing or unusual, it does nothing to elevate itself above the masses.
