Black Jack Final OVA Slated for December 16

Black Jack Final, the last volume in the Black Jack original video anime series by the late director Osamu Dezaki, will ship on December 16. Dezaki passed away on April 17 after a long career that included this series, Ashita no Joe, Ace wo Nerae!, Rose of Versailles, and Space Adventure Cobra.
The original Black Jack 10-episode video anime series adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga ran from 1993 to 2000. For the two new episodes, Akio Ohtsuka and Yūko Mizutani reprised their respective voice roles of Black Jack and Pinoko during a recording session streamed live on the Nico Nico Douga website in May.
Central Park Media's U.S. Manga Corps label once released the previous volumes on home video in North America. Tezuka Productions also now sells the English-dubbed version on the iTunes Store in the United States.
