News Viz Begins Bleach Manga's Digital Warp Program

The North American manga publisher Viz Media announced on Monday that it has begun the Bleach manga's "Jump Ahead" or "Digital Warp" program to prepare for the launch of the digital anthology Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha on January 30, 2012. Bleach volume 49 is available now, and the next two volumes will be available on November 21 and 28.
Shonen Jump Digital Warp is an accelerated digital release of select manga titles. It is designed to bridge the gap between the latest English graphic novels in print and the latest Japanese installments in print. Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha will run installments of Bleach and five other titles two weeks after their print debut in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
The English print edition of Bleach volume 37 will ship on December 6.
