News 16th Detective Conan Anime Feature to Open in April

Director Shizuno, writer Kouchi, composer Ono return for The Eleventh Striker
This year's 52nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Tuesday that Detective Conan: The Eleventh Striker (Meitantei Conan: 11-Ninme no Striker), the 16th Detective Conan anime feature film, will open in Japan on April 14, 2012. The newest crime that Conan will investigate takes place at a soccer stadium.
Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan: Quarter of Silence, Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Toki-den) is directing under the supervision of the franchise's chief director Yasuichiro Yamamoto. As they have for most of the films so far, Kazunari Kouchi (Aoyama Gōshō Tanpen-shū) is writing the script, and Katsuo Ono (DNA Sights 999.9, Fake) is composing the music.

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.
