News Togashi: Hunter x Hunter Has Longest Run Without Break

In the authors' comment section for this year's seventh issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine next Monday, manga creator Yoshihiro Togashi notes that he is "apparently" setting a new personal record for the longest run without a break on his Hunter x Hunter series. According to the unofficial "Hunter x Hunter Hiatus List," Togashi is running the 21st installment in a row in the next Weekly Shonen Jump issue. He had started the run in August in 2011's combined 35th/36th issue.
Until now, Hunter x Hunter's longest stretch without a break was 20 installments. Togashi drew that run in 2010 from the combined 5th/6th issue (January 4) to the 26th issue (May 31).
