The website for Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine has announced that Dan Da Barbarian, a manga by author Santa Inoue (Tokyo Tribes), will end publication in the April issue of the magazine, which goes on sale on February 29.
Gentosha published the first volume of Dan Da Barbarian in February 2011 and the second volume is slated to be released on March 24.
Inoue launched the manga in April 2009, when it appeared on the cover of the June issue of Monthly Comic Birz magazine. Last month, the manga creator confirmed on his Twitter account that he would end the Tokyo Tribe 3 sequel manga in the March issue of the Ollie fashion magazine on February 14. Gentosha published the fifth and final volume of Tokyo Tribe 3 on February 28.
Tokyopop published part of the Tokyo Tribes sequel manga in North America, while Tokyo Shock released the live-action film adaptation of Inoue's The Neighbor No. Thirteen manga on DVD. Madhouse adapted the Tokyo Tribes series into the 13-episode Tokyo Tribe 2 television anime series in 2006.
