Sentai Filmworks Adds Hidamari Sketch × SP Special

Sentai Filmworks announced on Tuesday that it has licensed the Hidamari Sketch × SP two-episode special. The company will release the special digitally "soon," and then on subtitled DVD later this year.
Hidamari Sketch × SP is the fourth special based on Ume Aoki's Hidamari Sketch manga. The two episodes of the special aired in October and November 2011. Director Akiyuki Shinbo (Maria Holic, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and character designer Yoshiaki Itō (Gakuen Alice) returned from the previous specials and television anime series for Hidamari Sketch × SP.
There was already a special edition for the first Hidamari Sketch television anime, another one for the Hidamari Sketch × 365 sequel, and still another one for the third series, Hidamari Sketch × ☆☆☆. The fourth television series, Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb, will premiere this October.
