Manga creator Kōji Ōishi (Maison de Penguin) ended his Inumarudashi— manga in this year's 27th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on June 4. The story revolved around the antics of a kindergarten boy named Inumaru-kun and the new kindergarten teacher Tamako-sensei.

The gag manga launched in the same magazine in 2008. Shueisha will publish the manga's 10th compiled book volume on July 4, followed by the 11th and final volume in August.

Inumarudashi— inspired a Vomic (sequence of still frames from the manga with voices added) project and a Flash anime project. Yu Kobayashi played Inumaru-kun, and Haruna Kondō of the comedy duo Harisenbon played Tamako-sensei in the Flash version, and the studio Gathering (30-sai no Hoken Taiiku, Tono to Issho) produced it.
