News Aru Zombie Shōjo no Sainan Light Novels Get Anime

Ryō Ikehata's story of a beautiful girl who regretfully wakes up as a zombie
Japanese publisher Kadokawa Shoten revealed in advertising that an anime adaptation of Ryō Ikehata's Aru Zombie Shōjo no Sainan (The Misfortune of a Certain Zombie Girl) light novel series has been green-lit. The story revolves around a beautiful girl named Euphrosyne (Yūfurojiinu) who is regretfully a zombie. Yūfurojiinu wakes up in an underground archive of a university, where a maid named Aruma tells her, "Madam, kill the students and retrieve the 'Secret Stone.'"
Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint will publish the first two volumes of the light novel series this week. Ikehata also wrote Sneaker Bunko's novel adaptation of the Blood+ anime series.
