Jun Sakyō's work comedy of would-be Hero & demon lord's daughter

Publisher Fujimi Shobo is announcing that an anime adaptation of Jun Sakyō's Yūsha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shūshoku o Ketsui Shimashita. (I, Who Didn't Become a Hero, Reluctantly Decided to Find a Job.) light novel series is in the works. Two manga series have also been green-lit in Fujimi Shobo's Age Premium and Square Enix's Young Gangan magazines.

The story revolves around Rauru, a boy who did not become a Hero, since the demon lord was already defeated just before his Hero exams. His dreams dashed, Rauru spends his days working at a magic shop in the capital. One day, a part-time job seeker appears at the shop with an amazing résumé:

Name: Fino
Previous Occupation: Demon Lord Heir
Motive: Because my father was defeated

The work comedy revolves around this former Hero-in-training and the daughter of the demon lord.

Sakyō launched the light novel series last January, and Fujimi Shobo will publish the fifth volume on Saturday.
