Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home Film's Full Trailer Posted

Tickets sold with cleaner cloth; film to play in Ishikawa on March 9, nationwide on March 30

The production company Pony Canyon updated the website for the Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home anime film on Friday and began streaming the full trailer. The trailer features the theme song "Kage Fumi" ("Shadow-Stepping") by nano.RIPE, the band that also performed theme songs for the original Hana-Saku Iroha television anime.

In this film's brand-new story, Ohana Matsumae, the lead character who moved from Tokyo to a hot spring inn, discovers an old business log. With it, Ohana learns about her mother Satsuki's past when she was 16 years old also. That was when Satsuki left her home to pursue her dreams in Tokyo.

The same trailer will begin playing in theaters on Saturday. The film will run in four theaters in Ishikawa Prefecture on March 9 before opening nationwide on March 30. Free gifts will be offered to the first people who see the film, while supplies last.

Those who buy tickets in advance at theaters can receive an exclusive 5-postcard set featuring characters from the film. A second set of 5 exclusive postcards will be offered with advance tickets, beginning on Saturday. The Gee! Store chain, Cospa's official online shop, and other venues will start offering still another batch of advance tickets bundled with an original cleaner cloth (pictured right) at the end of the month. The CD single for the theme song will go on sale on March 6 with an exclusive cover illustration of Ohana.

A joint concert is being held for True Tears, Hana-Saku Iroha, and Tari Tari — three anime created by the studio P.A. Works — on April 13. To celebrate the upcoming event, the Nico Nico service will stream marathons of all three series on March 10 and 11 in Japan.
