Black Rock Shooter Game Gets U.S. Release on April 23

The anime and game distributor NIS America announced on Friday that it will release Black Rock Shooter The Game on the PlayStation Network in the United States on April 23. The PlayStation Portable game's European version will also be available on April 24.

NIS America confirmed in August 2011 that it licensed the game for release in North America and Europe. The publisher originally intended to release the game in August 2012, according to the release dates listed for the game on the sites.

Japanese game developer Imageepoch's CEO Ryoei Mikage had commented last July that the game would be available in English "soon," and received European ratings in September.
