Total Eclipse PS3/Xbox 360 Game's 2nd Promo, Opening Movie Streamed

The game developer 5pb. began streaming three versions of the second promotional video for its Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Thursday. Each version gives more focus to one of the main characters: Cryska, Yui, and Yūya. In addition, the company began streaming the game's opening movie on Thursday.







The adventure game adapts the Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse novel, which is itself a spinoff of the 2006 visual novel software Muv-Luv Alternative from the adult game company Age. This side story follows the test pilots and mechanics in the United Nations Forces' Tactical Surface Fighter Testing Unit in Alaska. An anime version of Total Eclipse premiered in Japan last July, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.

The game will ship on May 16 after a delay. The game retails for 7,140 yen (about US$72).
