Infinite Stratos Light Novels Get New Manga

The May issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday Gene-X magazine is revealing on Friday that a new manga based on the Infinite Stratos light novels will debut in the next issue on May 18.
Overlap will also resume the science-fiction romantic comedy light novel series with the eighth volume on April 25 as part of the Infinite Stratos "reboot" project. Kenji Akahoshi's Infinite Stratos manga and Takuto Kon's Aiesu! (IS!) four-panel spinoff manga ended last summer.
The production and publishing company Overlap revealed a promotional campaign on April 8 that lists a new Infinite Stratos television anime as green-lit. The light novel series already inspired a 2011 television anime. Sentai Filmworks and Section23 Films released the complete anime series in North America.
