Manga from Hanamaru Kindergarten author centers on girl who can talk to objects

This year's 15th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine revealed on Friday that it will publish the final chapter of Yuto's Iroha-zaka, Agatte Sugu manga in the next issue on August 2. Square Enix published the second collected book volume in March. The series launched in January of last year.

The series revolves around Shizuku, an ordinary high school student who manages a pawn shop and also has a secret — she has a mysterious power that lets her converse with objects.

Yuto's Hanamaru Kindergarten slice-of-life comedy manga ended in Young Gangan in 2011. The manga inspired a television anime by director Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Gundam 00) and the studio Gainax in 2010.

Yuto has also been drawing another manga series called Sis Plus in Monthly Big Gangan and other magazines and began the four-panel series Ushiro no Gosenzo-sama in Takeshobo's Manga Club Original magazine last month after publishing it as a three-chapter short series in November 2012-January 2013.
