Danganronpa's Kodaka, Blood Lad's Kodama Create Guren 5 Manga

"Delinquents will save the world!!?" in Comic Gene magazine's "pop action" series
The September issue of Media Factory's Comic Gene magazine announced on Monday that a new "delinquent pop action" manga called Guren 5 will launch in the next issue on September 14.
Kazutaka Kodaka, the scenario writer for the Danganronpa game, created Guren 5's story, and Blood Lad manga creator Yūki Kodama designed the new series' main characters. Riku Shinoda, a winner of the Monthly Comic Rookie Queen award and MF Comic Prizes' Gene Prize, is drawing the actual art. The tagline of the manga is, "Delinquents will save the world!!?"
The Danganronpa game inspired an anime series that is airing in Japan. Kodama's Blood Lad manga also inspired an ongoing television anime. Yen Press publishes the Blood Lad manga in North America.
