Construction Company's Short Anime Promotes Home Insulation

Construction material company Mag Isover released a short anime on Monday titled Dannetsu Senshi Belle-chan (Belle-chan the Insulation Warrior) that revolves around the company's brand character, Belle-chan (Belle's name in Japanese is a pun on the word "veil"). In the video, Belle-chan fights against the ogres of outside temperature with her blade of glass wool, saving a woman worrying about the price of her electric bill. Belle-chan also assures viewers that the use of insulation is also good for the planet.
The voice cast consists of Akira Kasahara as Belle-chan, an insulation warrior, Shiori Izawa as Izo-kun, a creature born from glass wool and Belle-chan's best friend, Natsue Sasamoto as the heat and cold ogres, and Rie Segawa as the worrying woman.
Mag Isover produces and sells such materials as glass short-fiber products, insulation materials, and acoustic absorbent material. The company will also release a manga featuring Belle-chan in the future as part of its new promotional campaign.
