Attack on Titan Creator Draws 3DS Game Cover With 17+ Rating

posted on by Egan Loo

Spike Chunsoft unveiled the package design and age rating for its December 5 game Shingeki no Kyojin ~Jinrui Saigo no Tsubasa (Attack on Titan: Last Wings of Humanity). Original manga creator Hajime Isayama personally drew the package illustration of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin against the backdrop of the giant Titans. The Computer Entertainment Rating Organization gave the game a D rating for 17 years old or older.

In the game's story mode, the player controls Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other members of the Survey Corps as they take on the invading giants. At the beginning of this mode, the player can only play as Eren, but as the game progresses, the player can choose Mikasa and Armin. Enterbrain's Famitsu magazine teases that Levi and other characters might be available as well. The characters use the story's signature 3D manuever gear for "speedy action."

Up to four players can cooperate in the game's multiplayer mode. The video demonstrates how players can also make, customize, and train their own characters.

Spike Chunsoft will ship the Nintendo 3DS action game in Japan for 6,090 yen (about US$61).
